Creating the Initial Cover Image

To start off with, we need a rough sketch or layout of our composition. This can be done loosely on a paper and scanned in, or it can be created in Photoshop, as I have done here. This should be as basic as possible defining the main three or four elements. In this image, we are showing three main elements – two characters and one background. Each separate element must be justified against the others.
