LCD Backlight 용 CCFL 보호를 위한 Open Voltage 출력방법에 관한 연구

In this paper, we are disclosed a LCD backlight inverter for controlling the open voltage with a stable output and preventing an effect to a feedback controlling block in opening a lamp used as a backlight. An open voltage output circuit for the LCD backlight inverter comprises first block and second block for comparing feedback signal and voltage signal divided in the open voltage protection signal respectively; and a feedback selection block controlling on/off status. By operating on it to protection mode, this inverter generates open voltage of approximate 2500V for pertinent CCFL protection spec. When this inverter is integrated with the LCD panels as a system, significant improvements reliability and lamp protection are realized.
