KS 건축용 턴버클과 환봉가새의 설계강도에 대한 연구

Rod-bars and turnbuckles are widely used in general steel structures and Pre- Engineered Buildings(PEB) as a lateral load resisting(brace) system for the safety of the structure. In the Korean Standards(KS) there are three standards of turnbuckles; turnbuckle for building(KS F 4521), turnbuckle bolts(KS F 4512) and turnbuckle body(KS F 4513). In the Korean Building Code(KBC) ‘Standards for Bolts, high strength bolts etc.,’ includes the turnbuckle for buildings. The design strength of the rod-bar bracing system with the turnbuckle should be the lowest values among the strength of the turnbuckle body, threaded rod, welds between rod and connection plate, plates and bolts for plate connection according to the standards. This study deals with the design of the bracing system with the turnbuckle and rod-bar based on the KBC.
