Three-dimensional reconstruction and flow measurements of coronary arteries using multi-view digital angiography

In this paper we discuss three-dimensional reconstruction and flow measurements of the coronary artery vascular bed from multiple view coronary angiography. The reconstruction generates densitometric centerline and cross-sectional area measurements of the major branches of the arterial bed from two view ECG correlated digital angiograms for all images obtained throughout the cardiac cycle. The completeness of the reconstruction is well suited to allow computation of absolute flow through the major branches.
