The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and equipment based on capacitive touch screen drive and detection. The method comprises the following steps that: a drive end simultaneously transmits drive signals to at least two channels in the same drive and detection time period; and all receiving channels of a receiving end receive charge signals generated when the drive signals touch detection point coupling capacitors through corresponding channels and detecting the charge signals, wherein the step comprises the sub-steps of converting and amplifying the charge signals into voltage signals, performing signal demodulation and analog/digital conversion on the voltage signals, storing the digital signals subjected to analog/digital conversion, and analyzing and processing the digital signals in the controller to obtain the detection result. According to the embodiment of the invention, rapid scanning is realized, the defect that the scanning frame frequency is reduced due to increase of total TX channels in application of large-size capacitive touch screens in the prior art is overcome, the aim of detecting the frame frequency is fulfilled, and the requirement on the rapidness of performing display screen drive and capacitive touch detection in time slots is met.
