Self-powering universal serial bus (USB) equipment

The invention provides self-powering universal serial bus (USB) equipment. The equipment comprises a power supply, a switching circuit, a USB interface, a relay, a detection circuit and a control chip, wherein the switching circuit is connected between the power supply and the control chip; the detection circuit is connected to the power supply, the switching circuit, the relay and the control chip; the relay is also connected to the control chip and the USB interface; by the detection circuit, when the USB interface is connected to a host, the control chip is connected with the power supply so as to start the USB equipment; and the relay is used for connecting the USB interface to the control chip to further connect the USB equipment to the host when the USB equipment is started. When the USB equipment detects that the USB interface is connected to the host, the USB equipment can be automatically started and is connected to the host, so that the self-powering USB equipment is convenient to use.
