Propeller aircraft interior noise model, part I: Analytical model

Abstract Theoretical results are given for a basic propeller aircraft interior noise model. Results allow prediction of tonal levels in the cabin of a propeller-driven airplane at the blade passage frequency and its harmonics. Part I of this paper contains the analytical model, and in Part II scale-model and flight test comparisons are considered.
