Regularization and numerical optimization of a fast eddy current imaging method

This paper deals with the improvement of a fast noniterative imaging algorithm to retrieve the spatial distribution of the (two-phase) resistivity of a conductor starting from eddy current nondestructive testing data. A critical analysis of the algorithm shows that it can be improved by: 1) taking into account a priori information (regularization) and 2) by reducing the computational cost
