Design of launch go/no-go criteria and development of methods for wind monitoring and compensation to guarantee the safety of KSR-Ⅲ flight test are carried out. The criteria are determined considering ground wind speed, winds aloft condition, TVC angle, aerodynamic angle, and launch attitude correction angle. Methods to measure ground wind and high altitude wind to get required data for the criteria are described with measurement results for KSR-Ⅲ flight test. An algorithm to calculate launch attitude considering impact point of the rocket using measured wind data is also expressed. Criteria and methods presented in this paper are all applied to KSR-Ⅲ flight test and proved to show successful results.
