Method, device, user equipment, and network side device for multicarrier aggregation

A method, device, user equipment, and network side device for multicarrier aggregation. The method comprises: a network side device determines, on the basis of information of a transmission resource acquired by successful competition for at least one member carrier, start and stop times of a scheduling period corresponding to the at least one member carrier, where the scheduling period is divided by uplink/downlink switch points into uplink time periods of the scheduling period and downlink periods of the scheduling period, the uplink/downlink switch points are used for dividing a time into uplink times for member carriers and downlink times for the member carriers, and the uplink/downlink switch points of two or more member carriers are aligned in terms of time; the network side device carries out downlink transmission with a user equipment in the downlink periods of the scheduling period; and, the network side device carries out uplink transmission with the user equipment in the uplink time periods of the scheduling period. Embodiments of the present invention allow for increased utilization rate of each member carrier.
