Design of a 94 GHz compact corrugated horn with ultra-low sidelobe

In this paper, a compact tanh/linear dual profile corrugated horn in millimeter-wave band is proposed. To reduce the size of the horn and achieve a low sidelobe level, the parameters of the corrugation profile have been optimized by the commercial software CHAMP. At the central frequency of 94 GHz, the simulation results show that the proposed horn can achieve very low sidelobe around -50 dB with a cross-polarization level about -64 dB.
