Risk Assessment and Control of Electromagnetically Coupled Power Loop Based on Benefit Risk Function

A new risk assessment and control method based on risk theory and risk benefit function for electromagnetically coupled power loop is proposed. On the basis of risk theory and benefit function, firstly the security of power grid containing electromagnetically coupled power loop is assessed. The static risk and transient risk of electromagnetically coupled power loop as well as the risk of whole power grid are obtained by risk calculation while the variation of system risks are considered before and after security and stability control measures are adopted;the economic benefits that electromagnetically coupled power loop and security and stability measures could bring about are calculated,on the basis of obtained risk and benefit values of electromagnetically coupled power loop the values of risk benefit function are calculated, and the acceptance and rejection of benefit and risk of power grid under different operating modes are analyzed to offer support for reasonable decision-making of dispatchers.Application results of the proposed method in large-area power grid show that the proposed method is feasible.
