The Utility of IgA Based Serologic Markers in Diagnosing Celiac Disease in Children ≤24 Months Old

Current screening guidelines in North America for celiac disease recommend additional IgG based testing for younger children. Our multicenter retrospective study showed that anti tissue transglutaminase IgA antibody test should be the recommended initial test in all children including ≤24 months of age.
