U-government: a framework for the evolution of e-government

In this paper, we look at the next step for e-government where newer technologies (e.g. multi-level interfaces, wireless devices, and nanotechnologies) will enable ubiquitous government. Building on u-commerce concepts, we develop a framework of the enablers, barriers, and outcomes of u-government, and present propositions for future research.
