The invention discloses a monitoring device and a calibration method for electric energy quality. The monitoring device comprises a mutual inductor, an amplifier, an analog to digital converter and a processing unit. A voltage-current source is input into the mutual inductor, an induction signal of the mutual inductor is input into the analog to digital converter after being amplified by the amplifier, the amplified induction signal is converted into a digital signal by the analog to digital converter, and then, the digital signal is input into the processing unit for processing. The calibration method comprises initialization and measurement. When the initialization is performed, reference values are input into the mutual inductor more than one time, and the processing unit is used for recording the measuring results of the reference values of all times, averaging the measuring results of the reference values of all the times and working out an error coefficient according to an average number and the reference values, and when the measurement is performed, current or voltage to be measured is input into the mutual inductor, and the processing unit is used for recording the measuring results and working out a measurement output value according to the measuring results and the error coefficient. The monitoring device for the electric energy quality has a simple structure, is low in realization cost, and is capable of greatly improving the production efficiency and reducing the accuracy requirement of the system on hardware devices.
