Study of Layout for Water-cooling Pipes in Mass Concrete Based on MIDAS

In order to realize effective temperature control of water-cooling pipe in mass concrete structures,the finite element software MIDAS/CIVIL is used to calculate temperature field of mass concrete in which the water-cooling pipe is embedded.Meanwhile the factors such as the layout of the water-cooling pipes,pipe diameter,distance between two pipes,pipe length,cooling water flow and etc influencing on the temperature field are analyzed.The cooling efficiency and construction cost are also taken into account comprehensively.Then a reasonable layout of water-cooling pipes is proposed.
