Stratification Wave Patterns in a Perturbed Glow-Discharge Positive Column in Inert or Molecular Gases: A Comparison

Space-temporal evolution images of the stratification wave (SW) in the positive column (PC) of inert or molecular gases are presented. Details of space–time evolution and parameters for the propagation modes of the SW in the two kinds of PCs are obtained.
