Facility location models for distribution planning

Abstract A strategic issue which is of interest to distribution planners is where to best site warehouses. Model formulations, and solution approaches, which address the issue vary widely in terms of mathematical and computational complexity. This paper reviews some of the significant contributions which have been made to the relevant and current state of knowledge.
