Photoacoustic microscopy with large integrating optical annular detectors

Large optical annular detectors were realized using polymer optical fibers and a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. Photoacoustic measurements were performed and compared to numerical simulations. Furthermore, a simple deconvolution algorithm was developed and applied to reduce artifacts in the images.
