Wide-Band Weighted Sub-Space Fitting Direction Finding Algorithm Based on Genetic Algorithm

Wide-band direction finding is a difficult topic of research in signal processing domain.This paper generalizes weighted sub-space fitting direction finding algorithm to the wideband situation,and so constructs an aim function,then applies genetic algorithm for nonlinear global optimization.Direction of arrival is estimated without preprocessing.The algorithm is applied on uniform linear array and extensive simulation results demonstrate that the algorithm has good performance.
