A theoretical model to estimate some ergonomic parameters from age, height and weight.

A model to predict some anthropometric, biomechanical and work physiology parameters from age, height and weight is described. The capabilities and restrictions of the model are presented. Predicted values of 83 ergonomic parameters for a sample of 250 healthy males has shown close agreement with the observed values reported in the available literature. Recommendations as to the refinement and improvement of the model are made.
