Injection-locking of TEA CO2 lasers by an orthogonally-polarised injection source

Abstract We report on a conceptually radical refinement of injection-locking technique based on results arising from recent research into polarization coupling phenomena in TEA CO2 lasers. The method outlined in this paper possesses certain key advantages over more commonly used techniques.
