System and method for remotely controling vehicle using mobile terminal that have radio frequency module

A car remote control system using a mobile terminal embedded with a wireless module and a method therefor are provided to connect the wireless module to a car control module in a slot way and to improve compatibility, thereby using a mobile terminal having various wireless modules. A mobile terminal(200) has the first wireless module, and transmits a car control message through the wireless module. A BCM(Body Control Module)(10) has the second wireless module(13) for receiving the car control message, stores ID information of the mobile terminal by a driver to receive the registered ID information, and compares the stored ID information with ID information contained in the car control message if the car control message is received through the second wireless module. If the compared results are identical, the BCM controls a car according to the car control message. An input unit(20) has keys for registering the mobile terminal in the BCM, as being connected to the BCM.
