Different retrieval methods based on S-parameters for the permittivity of composites

In this presentation, four different S-parameter-based retrieval methods for the constitutive parameters are proposed and utilized to investigate the broadband effective permittivity of several geometrically simple composites. The accuracy and validity of these approaches are then explored by comparisons between the retrieved results, and a comparison of these results with the quasi-static Lord Rayleigh prediction.
