In this paper, the thermodynamic modeling for a low pressure scroll compressor with liquid injection was developed. When the discharge temperature is high due to the increased frequency, liquid injection technique is effective to reduce the discharge temperature of the compressor. Governing equation was developed using continuity and energy conservation. It was solved by using fourth order Runge-Kutta scheme, and then pressure, temperature and mass with respect to orbiting angle were calculated. Inverter driven compressor was simulated as a function of frequency at the ASHRAE-T condition. Optimal injection position, diameter, condition were suggested when a liquid injection was used in the scroll compressor.
