Discussion on Central Elements of IKEA Product′s Packaging Design

Based on the key elements of IKEA packaging design,it analyzed the selection of survey items and survey methods,and the importance of particular investigation and strict cost control through case studies of IKEA packaging design,summarized the easy-recognition,easy-show,DIY and detail-orientation as main characters of IKEA packaging design.It put forward that,good function combination and scripts were information carriers,materials were logo carriers and colors were style carriers in construction of consistent design style.
