Address allocation method for lighting device using light emitting diode

PURPOSE: A method for allocating an address in a LED lighting device is provided to control many LED modules just with a small quantity of data, when controlling the LED lighting device, by variably allocating an address of the LED module. CONSTITUTION: The method for allocating an address in a LED lighting device includes the steps of: controlling LED modules(110) by means of a main controller(120); assigning the addresses also by means of the main controller so that desired patterns or characters are displayed; assigning a fixed address to the LED module directly connected with the main controller; and assigning an address value to a next LED module by means of the LED module with an allocated fixed address, wherein the address value is increased by one from the fixed address of the LED module so as to be assigned.
