The Development and Practice of Lifelong Education in Jiangsu

Since lifelong education was introduced into our country in the 1990 s,it is gradually showing a development trend:from spreading the lifelong education concept to the arrangement of lifelong education system,from a passive lifelong education to an active lifelong learning,and from a self-contained lifelong education system to a three-dimensional network development trend.Governments at all levels in China made an active exploration on constructing a lifelong education system,an overall goal of a learning society and strategic decisions from its concept to operation. In terms of the practice of Jiangsu province,the top-level design policy has been in place; the system construction has achieved initial success; the development of reform deepening is speeding up.
