Research on optimum parameters of base-isolated buildings with lead laminated rubber bearings

In this paper, the optimum parameter of baseisolated buildings with lead laminated rubber bearings(LRB) has been studied. The earthquake response of seismic isolation system excited by different ground motions has been investigated by the nonlinear timehistory response analysis procedure through an engineering example. The results show that seismic response of the system can be controlled by optimizing LRB parametrs for practical engineering.
