Pattern reconfigurable strip monopole with eight switched printed parasitic elements

In this work, we propose an antenna example which is based on Yagi-Uda antenna with eight printed parasitic elements which are length-switchable with the method of directly changing the length by switches. The effective length of parasitic element decides the parasitic element to be a reflector or a director and result in the reconfigurable radiation pattern.
