COMPUTERISATION OF LAND RECORDS IN PAKISTAN A Comparative Analysis of Two Projects from a Human Security Perspective

1 Muhammed Usman Qazi is a community development, humanitarian relief and human rights worker from Pakistan. He holds a bachelors degree in engineering from N.E.D University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan and a masters in Economics and Management of Rural Development from University of Manchester, UK. He has more than 13 years of professional experience with various international organisations. Usman is currently working with UNDP, Pakistan, in its Crisis Prevention and Recovery Unit, in the aftermath of October 8, 2005 earthquake. He is a member of Pakistan Engineering Council, Pakistan Society for Development Economics, Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief and a fellow of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD)
