Fault diagnosis for power electronic circuits based on mixed logic dynamic model and identification vector

This paper proposes an improved method of fault diagnosis for power electronic circuits with multiple discrete events. The proposed method is based on the mixed logic dynamic (MLD) model and the fault events identification. On one hand, the establishment of the MLD model effectively describes the character of condition transition and control transition in the circuits, and improves the accuracy of the modeling. On the other hand, the concept of fault event identification vector is adopted, and the identification to the discrete events is replaced by the identification to the fault events. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the methods are verified by a simulation and an experiment of a three-phase inverter circuit.
