Research on the Optimized Controller of Fin Stablilizer-Passive Anti- Rolling Tank Integrated Balance System Based on Genetic Algorithm

Considering the advantages and disadvantages of fin stabilizer and anti-rolling tank, and excellent anti-rolling scheme in overall range of ship speed, integrated fin stabilizer-passive anti-rolling tank system, was adopted. On the basis the mathematics model of ship-fins-anti-rolling tank system was built up. For the complexity and its application of the mathematics model, the genetic algorithm was used to optimize the parameters of PID controller. At the same time, the simulation was carried out and the simulation results shows that the designed controller by using genetic algorithm can meet the requirements of system and the theoretical basis of the practical application of this system is also provided.
