A data fusion routing algorithm in wireless sensor network based on mobile agent

Data fusion is often used to eliminate data redundancy and prolong network lifetime in wireless sensor network (WSN), in order to solve the problems of the energy consumption and delay of WSN. This paper applies the mobile agent technology to data fusion. Firstly the model of WSN and structure of mobile agent were described, and then the data fusion routing algorithm is proposed, in which it uses the improved ant colony algorithm to seek a better route. In the migration of mobile agent, not only the distance between the two nodes is considered, but also the remaining energy is considered, which can avoid migrating to the invalid node. Finally, through the simulation, the results show that the algorithm can reduce the delay and prolong network lifetime.
