Study on Variable Frequency Single Cycle Synchronous Control for a Class of Space LD Driving Power

With the application requirement for a class of high-input/low-output voltage special space laser device drive power, inductive coupling and soft-switching technology is used to reduce switching loss. The special soft-switching technology is implemented, which the input switch tube is turned off and on respectively at the inductor current peak and zero crossing point in a single cycle. Also, the loss is reduced by synchronous rectification technology, which greatly improves the efficiency of such kind laser driving power. The driving power supply is simulated through PSIM to optimize the operating frequency range, the zero-crossing detection and other parameters design. Finally, the principle prototype is developed to verify the control technology. The simulation and principle prototype results show the feasibility and high conversion efficiency of the control method.
