Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Some 1-(3-(5-Chloro-2- Hydroxyphenyl)-5-Aryl-4, 5-Dihydro Pyrazol-1-yl) Ethanone Derivatives

Some New [1-(3-(5-chloro-2-hydroxy phenyl)-5-aryl-4,5-dihydro pyrazol-1-yl] ethanone derivatives have been synthesized by subjecting an appropriate 1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenyl prop-2-en-1-one to reaction with the aldehyde in the presence of absolute ethanol and Sodium Chloride this content refluxed 18Hrs. Their chemical structures have been confirmed by IR, 1HNMR, MASS and by elemental analysis. All the synthesized compounds were screened for anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. The gross behavioral studies of test compounds reveal that all the test compounds exhibited significant activity when compared with that of standard drug.
