A Novel DPWM Based on Fully Table Look-Up for High-Frequency Power Conversion

A novel multi-phase digital pulse-width modulation (DPWM) power regulator based on fully table look-up approach for high-frequency switching conversion is presented. The regulator comprises a comparator, a look-up table based PID compensator and a multi-phase DPWM. The fully table look-up approach makes its implementation more efficient due to its inherent regularity. The prototype test circuits of the proposed architecture have been implemented with FPGA and validated with measured results
