Recursive Model of Forward Motion Blurred Image Based on Polar Coordinates

In the duration of the exposure, if the imaging system is approaching the object at a high speed, the recorded image will be blurred radially. The radial blur will diminish the effective field, affect the quality of the image obtained. The blur is space variant, and solving this problem has much significance either in theory or in practice. The restoration first resampled the blurred image with fan-shaped grids, and then simulated the degradation process with a state-space model. The state-space method overcame the space variant difficulty via a recursive way, and finally the degraded image was restored by finding the degradation system′s inverse.Computer simulation shows that the algorithm is simple, the image after processing is clear, and the radially blurred image is restored approvingly.
