Why actor models are integral to structural analysis

Certaines versions du structuralisme considerent les acteurs comme necessaires a l'analyse structurale, tandis que d'autres soutiennent le contraire. L'A. de cet article soutient non seulement que l'acteur social est un important facteur d'explication a ajouter au facteur de structure sociale, mais il affirme que cette derniere est dependante de ce que sont les acteurs. Il soutient que la structure du savoir scientifique suit une approche modelisante sur plusieurs niveaux : la theorie a chaque niveau d'agregation est basee sur des modeles d'acteur d'unites appropriees
