태권도장 경영자의 경쟁가치 리더십이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Taekwondo gym managers` competing values leadership on organizational effectiveness. The sample for this study consisted of 585 Taekwondo instructors from Taekwondo gyms in all parts of Korea. Data were collected by structured questionnaires and analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression method. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1) Taekwondo gym managers` competing values leadership had a great impact on organizational effectiveness represented by job satisfaction, leader satisfaction and organizational commitment; 2) Taekwondo gym managers` integrator, director and executor role had positive effects on Taekwondo instructors` job satisfaction; 3) integrator, monitor, considerator, director and executor role positively impacted on leader satisfaction; 4) integrator, director and considerator role had positive impacts on organizational commitment; and 5) Taekwondo instructors`s maturity, gender and organizational size did not moderate the effects of competing values leadership on organizational effectiveness. These findings were discussed and directions for. future research were suggested.
