he book is divided into two parts. Part I, comprising ChapT ters 1 to 7, concerns fixed-link systems. Part 11, which contains Chapters 8 to 12, deals with mobile systems. It would be better to say that Chapter 12 stands on its own, because it compares the subject matter of Parts I and 11, and highlights differences between the respective propagation phenomena. The review will be carried out by discussion of the contents of the respective chapters. .
