A PZT driven thermoacoustic refrigerator attracts our attention due to its lack of moving part and its merits like stable stepless operation, moistureproof, immunity to magnetic field, and so on After a short introduction of fundamentals of thermoacoustic refrigeration, we analyze the performance of a PZT driven thermoacoustic refrigerator, focusing on the influence of the structural dimensions and also the operating parameters like pressure, pressure ratio and working fluid Based on the simulating results, a preliminary design of an experimental setup is also proposed
