Design of a Dual-Interface Multi-Channel ARINC429 Bus Card Based on NIOS II

The design of System On Programmable Chip(SOPC) based on NIOSⅡ processor is described.By SOPC,multi-channel ARINC429 bus protocol is implemented by FPGA.NIOSⅡ processor communicates with the USB bus through FIFO,and communicates with the PCI bus through DPRAM.This paper mainly presents the hardware and software design of NIOSⅡ processor system,address space partition of DPRAM,and design of driver.The results of test showed that this bus card can satisfy multi-channel ARINC429 bus protocol.
