During cold rolling production process,the optimized rolling force setup plays a key role on quality of steel making.Because the process have characteristics of multi-variables,large time delay,strong coupling,non-linear,and also involves a variety of factors,such as: tension,speed,thickness,etc.,the setup of rolling force is very complex.Rapidity and accuracy of rolling force on-line setup are proposed by high-speed cold rolling production.A new rolling force optimization setup methods-data-driven approach is presented,the inherent regularity from mass of production data is sought,and the rolling force data is directly determined.For the following condition: the relationship between input and output is uncertain,data-driven approach has been designed.Through analysis and comparison on the simulation data based on rolling force data from cold rolling strip steel process,it is proved that the method is effective.
