Layout design and flow path connection design are close coupling and weak robust design.But design association and engineering intention are difficult to be realized through automatic optimization algorithm.The intelligent design methodology of Hydraulic Manifold Block(HMB)based on Multi-Agent(MA)is proposed,including Hydraulic Component Agent(HCA),Flow Path Agent(FPA)and Control Agent(CA).HCA performs duties of optimization layout design and adjustment of hydraulic components;FPA does duties of automatic construction of flow path connection,inner validity check and associated updating;CA deals with interactive design activities and confliction resolution of HCA and FPA.HCA,FPA and CA communicate with each other by blackboard manner.Finally intelligent design of HMB,which is dynamic and associated,will be realized by cooperating HCA,FPA and CA.
