A fourier-based PLL for Single-Phase grid connected systems

In this work, a new single-phase PLL method based on the Fourier series is presented. In the first part, a brief study review on the principles of Fourier series is developed. Based on these principles, the methodology for the proposed PLL structure is explained in its major aspects. The developed algorithm is compared with other Single-Phase methods under a group of disturbances in the utility grid voltage. Simulation results are presented and analyzed to evaluate the performance of the introduced PLL. The results obtained with a DSP implementation are also included to support the theoretical development.
