Apparatus and method for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy

The present invention relates to an electrochemical impedance analyzing device and method for super capacitor analysis. The electrochemical impedance analyzing device comprises a potentiostat which converts a reference sine wave into an active signal and applies the active signal to a super capacitor and measures voltage or current changed according to a reaction degree of the super capacitor which is changed by the active signal; a signal output part which obtains complex resistance impedance by comparing a measurement result of the potentiostat with the reference sine wave and with a signal in which the reference sine wave is moved by 90 degree phase, and outputs the complex resistance impedance by performing low pass filtering and analog-digital conversion; a signal analyzing part which obtains and outputs an impedance spectrum by calculating the output of the signal output part using a fast Fourier transform (FFT) method or a shot-time Fourier transform (STFT) method and actively changes the frequency of the reference sine wave; and a signal input part which produces the reference sine wave having the frequency changed by the signal analyzing part and inputs the reference sine wave in the potentiostat.
