Fuzzy weak semicontinuity

Abstract In this paper we introduce the fuzzy weakly semicontinuous mapping which is the weaker form of both fuzzy semicontinuous and fuzzy almost continuous mappings in fuzzy topological spaces. However, fuzzy weakly semicontinuous mapping and fuzzy weakly continuous mapping are independent notions. Then we discuss some characteristic properties of fuzzy semicontinuous, fuzzy semiopen, fuzzy semiclosed and fuzzy pre-semi-open mappings.
