The Practice of Transfer Functions : Numerical Methods and Their Application

For many people, whose job is ore reserve evaluation, mine planning or exploration strategy, the name of transfer function will be quite new: however, this tool may give an answer to very old problems. After recalling some questions to which classical estimation is unable to give correct answers, I shall present some examples of determination of transfer functions: I shall not insist on the theoretical formulation (to be found better in [1]) but essentially I shall try to give an insight into the overall process.
