CORRECTION TECHNIQUE OF ENVIRONMENTAL TEMPERATURE CHANGE FOR DIGITAL AUTO GAIN COMPENSATIVE MICROWAVE RADIOMETER

By measuring the output variation of reference source, the digital auto-gain compensative microwave radiometer(DAGCMR) can compensate the gain fluctuation to keep system's stability.Under the high sensitivity requirement, match load having the same temperature as cabinet was used as a reference source to overcome the influence of control temperature current.Hence, noise temperature from reference source output varied with cabinet temperature, which resulted in measurement error. To eliminate this measurement error and keep system's stability, correction technique for environment temperature change was needed. The fundament of DAGCMR,the temperature correction principle and technique were presented. In addition,long-time stability measurement for compensated radiometer was carried out.Effective detection was proved for atmospheric sounding and observing.
